According to Daily Trust, the 25-year old Asten was dressed in female attires which made members of the public suspect his motives. The plateau-born suspect was reportedly almost lynched by a mob before men of the Nigerian Police came to his rescue.
The arrest was confirmed by the Public Relations Officer of the Bauchi State Police Command, DSP Haruna Mohammed, who gave the information to journalists.
Mohammed said the suspect was arrested in a female attire wearing a weave on at the mobile round about along Jos road in Bauchi.
He informed the journalists that the suspected was being interrogated in order to establish his motive.
Just last week, a bomb exploded at a popular market in Bauchi state.
